Deerpark police arrested Raymoe Stroms, 43, this week, for violating sex offender registry requirements after an investigator learned that he had moved to a residence in New Jersey several months ago without alerting authorities.

Stroms, who is a level one sex offender, which mean he is a low risk of reoffending, has to notify police within 10 days of an address change. This is the second time he has committed such an offense, which elevated his latest charge to a felony.

Following his arraignment, Stroms was released on $2,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Deerpark Court at a later date.
